Netflix has renewed Tina Fey comedy, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a fourth season.
Following another stellar season of the offbeat comedy featuring guest stars such as Jon Hamm, Josh Charles, Ray Liotta, Maya Rudolph, Daveed Diggs and Laura Dern, Netflix yesterday announced the series renewal. The renewal comes as no surprise as it’s a very popular show, but with Netflix not releasing viewing data, the shows popularity can’t fully be validated, and since recent Netflix cancellations with Sense8 and The Get Down, this renewal provides fans a huge sigh of relief.
“Netflix has renewed the critically-acclaimed comedy series from Universal Television Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a fourth season. The series stars Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane. Executive producers are Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, Jeff Richmond and David Miner. The Emmy nominated series is produced by Universal Television, Little Stranger Inc., 3 Arts Entertainment and Bevel Gears for Netflix.”
